By contacting, scheduling, or using services provided by Sacramento Locksmith ("Company", "we", "us"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use our services.
We provide residential, commercial, and automotive locksmith services in the Sacramento, California service area, including but not limited to lockout service, lock rekeying, lock installation, key cutting, transponder key programming, and access control installation. Services are provided subject to availability and geographic coverage.
All service quotes provided by phone or in writing are starting-from estimates based on the information provided at the time of inquiry. Final pricing is confirmed by the technician at your location before work begins. Additional charges may apply for circumstances not disclosed at time of quote, including but not limited to: unusual lock configurations, additional hardware required, extended labor beyond the quoted job scope, or after-hours surcharges. No work will begin without your verbal or written authorization of the quoted price.
Payment is due at time of service unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept cash, major credit cards, and debit cards. A service call fee may apply for dispatched technicians regardless of whether service is completed, where you decline service after the technician arrives and the reason for declining is not related to a pricing discrepancy from the quoted amount.
We stand behind our work for 90 days from the date of service for workmanship defects. This warranty covers defects in installation or rekeying work performed by our technicians. It does not cover damage caused by third parties, improper use, forced entry, normal wear, or hardware failures unrelated to our installation. Hardware warranty, where applicable, is provided by the manufacturer.
You represent and warrant that you are the owner of the property or vehicle on which you are requesting service, or that you have the lawful authority to request access to the property or vehicle. We reserve the right to request proof of ownership or occupancy (vehicle registration, lease agreement, photo ID, utility bill) before performing service. We may decline service if we cannot reasonably verify authorization.
To the maximum extent permitted by California law, our total liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for consequential, indirect, incidental, or punitive damages. We are not responsible for pre-existing damage to locks, doors, frames, or vehicles that is discovered during service.
Our standard service hours are Sunday through Friday, 9 AM to 9 PM Pacific Time. We are closed Saturdays. Service outside stated hours may be available at our discretion and may carry additional charges disclosed before dispatch.
You may cancel a dispatched service call without charge if you do so before the technician departs. If a technician has already traveled to your location and you cancel or decline service for reasons unrelated to a pricing discrepancy from the quoted amount, a dispatch fee may apply.
We may photograph lock hardware, door conditions, or vehicle conditions before and after service for documentation and quality assurance purposes. These photos are stored internally and are not shared publicly without your consent.
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any dispute arising under these terms shall be resolved in Sacramento County, California.
